“So damn good!! I love all of the Deadpool movies, but man, Renyolds and Jackman together just kill it! The introduction of Gambit, and Chris Evans showing up, not as Cap, but as a foul-mouthed Johnny Storm is so perfect. The fight scenes, the music, all of the Deadpools showing up for the fight, I could not have asked for anything more from this film. Then that post credit scene with Johnny badmouthing Casandra and the fact that a Disney-owned Marvel movie ends with the final word being "fuckface" and I could not be happier. So good, it deserves every star I give it!”

“It was a good way to see the story wrapped up, I like how it circled around and finally allowed Marcus Aurelius's dream to be realized. But honestly the movie dragged a bit and was a bit too long. However, I have to say, the acting was nicely played, I really liked the man who played Lucius and also Denzel Washington's character was really good. Overall it was a good watch, but not nearly as good as the original.”

“It was pretty good, I thought the acting was well done and the story was pretty good. Some of the CGI left something to be desired, but the flying scenes were actually done really well. Overall it was a fun watch, not a great movie, but still a lot of fun.”

“This was OK, I thought most of the movie was good, but I didn't particularly like the ending. I know it is an Eggers film, so I shouldn't expect a happy ending, and I wasn't, but I didn't expect what I saw and I didn't really like it. Up until the end it was OK, not great, and I thought the main character's acting was pretty stiff. I did, however, enjoy the film visually. I do really like Eggers's style.”

“Man, I can see why my younger self related to Rob so much! Pretentious, pedantic, obsessed with music and thinking your taste in music defined who you are! This was so me at like 18 years old. Thank God I figured things out (mostly) better than he did and at a younger age. I still enjoyed the watch, though, it was good, I liked it.”

“Melissa and I watched this together and I thought it was really good. I'm not the biggest fan of Galactus as a villain, I just don't like the character, maybe it's because I don't understand him, but other than that, I thought the movie was a lot of fun.”

“This was better than I expected. The story was good, the acting was good, it had some pretty funny parts and I cried a bit. All and all a good watch!”

“I really enjoyed it. It wasn't as scary as I was expecting it to be, but still really enjoyable.”

“It had it's funny parts, and I did enjoy Billy Crystal's performance, but not one I'd be in a rush to watch again.”

“I actually watched this on an airplane flying out to Montana. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, it wasn't really that scary, more of a psychological/ religious horror. I honestly thought it was pretty good.”

“I watched this in the background as I was working. While I like this movie, it is certainly a sci-fi classic, it isn't my favorite. I watched the Director's Cut, which is supposed to be the definitive version of the movie, but I like how the different versions have subtly different meanings. While Blade Runner's slow burn works great for me sometimes, it is not always something I'm in the mood for, but I wanted to watch this again before I watched Blade Runner 2049 again.”

“Melissa and I sat down to watch our first movie just the two of us in the home theater and she wanted to watch Twisters. It was the first time we had seen it and it was far better than I expected. While not as good as the original (Bill Paxton's second best movie), it was a great watch. Great storms, good love story, made me cry a few times, I thought it was really good. Not one of my favorites, but I'll certainly watch it again. As a side note, for a Spielberg movie directed by a basically no-name director, I was quite surprised by it's quality. Especially for a movie that I thought was just a cash grab by the studio. The one objection I had was the lack of tie backs to the original. There may have been some there that I missed, but nothing obvious, which I would have liked.”

“Heath Ledger and Paul Bettany absolutely make this move. I love the mix of setting the movie in medieval times but then have them speak and dance in a modern way. The comedy and love story are a nice balance, and Alan Tudyke is a master as always. Great dumb fun movie.”

“I watched this over two settings in preparation for seeing Christopher Nolan's Odyssey. It was a wonderful movie, but not as good as I think it could have been. I did like how it ended with the soldiers finding Achilles with only one arrow through him, through his ankle, his heel, giving good belief that the only thing that could have killed him was his Achilles heel.”

“Not exactly my cup of tea, but it was great to finally watch a movie with the whole family. Melissa, Amelia, and Elizabeth all joined me and this was the movie we chose to watch as a family. I brought a couple of tears to my eyes, and it's not a bad movie, just not something I'd watch by myself.”

“Got to see Backrooms with Billy and had a great time experiencing the movie with him. We spent about an hour or more standing outside the theater discussing it afterwards! Damn, I really love this film!”
